England - Oxford

The Coronation Cup (bottom photo) was given to the Mayor of Oxford in 1661 by Charles 11 as a reward for his services at his coronation. The cup is decorated with a rose for England, a thistle for Scotland, a harp for Ireland and a fleur-de-lis for France. This tradition of Oxford Mayors attending at coronations started in the 1300s.
